The Coney Island Polar Bears are a unique group because they swim in the Atlantic Ocean every Sunday from October to April and they love Coney Island.
The members wanted to develop a web site for this unusual club. The site we developed gives an insight to the Club and it’s history for curiosity seekers.
A C C O M P L I S H M E N T : Membership increased 25% since the launch. With the growing popularity of the Bears, they are in a position to give back to the community. During the New Year’s Day Plunge, swimmers made a pledge then made a plunge. The Club raised over $10,000 for the Special Olympics New York.
