The New York Phoenix project is a
newspaper and web site dedicated to the
recovery and rebuilding of New York after
the tragic events of September 11th. It
will provide a means of communication,
reporting, discussion, comment and
analysis to assist in and support the
recovery and rebuilding process.
The logo created is the mythological
phoenix rising from the wreckage of the
World Trade Center. The web site has daily
updates and will contain a chat room where
people can come to share and discuss. The
covers of the newspaper use striking
photographs to evoke emotion and a desire
to discover
more.
