The New York City Audubon's kindness for
our feathered friends in the city is
matched by their passion for nature
throughout New York.
NYCA has an annual fund-raising event. The nature cruise was a popular event. This cast of birds, pictured here on the right, are ones that dwell in the urban jungle and have proudly been featured on every invitation for the event for nine years.
NYCA came across a wonderful
documentary film Pale Male by Frederic Lilien. For their event that year, NYCA sponsored screenings Pale Male at the American Museum of Natural History. We produced video tape jackets, invitations, and a series of posters for the screenings. The following years, NYCA has celebrated nature in New York City by hosting a dinner at the Boathouse in Central Park.
We also designed a special bird-watching guide when NYCA honored Battery Park City. It tells the story of the migration of the marvelous birds that come to Battery Park.
A C C O M P L I S H M E N T : Attendance for NYCA events has steadily increased throughout the years and membership numbers have grown.
